Liverpool’s Emre Can given worst possible rating by Spanish media following Sevilla draw

Germany international midfielder Emre Can played the full 90 minutes during Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League clash with Sevilla on Wednesday.

The Reds were held to a 2-2 draw by the La Liga giants in the opening game of Group E.

Can came close to scoring for Liverpool on the night but his midfield display left a lot to be desired.

Following the game the Spanish media singled out the 23-year-old as Liverpool’s worst player on the night.

The Spanish newspaper Marca gave Can a rating of one star from a possible five.

Liverpool fans will be hoping Can can snap back into form this weekend when the Reds take on Burnley FC in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s heavy defeat at the hands of Manchester City. The Citizens recorded a 5-0 victory over the Reds leaving Klopp’s side down in eight place.
