Manchester City have joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder İlkay Gündoğan Daily Mirror.
The 24-year-old still has another year on his contract but Dortmund have failed to renew his deal and could be tempted to sell him in the summer.
Dortmund were reported to have made Gündoğan an offer worth £6.5 million per-season which would see him remain at the club until 2019.
Scouts from Manchester City are reported to be keeping tabs in the Germany international.
Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp will part ways with the club at the end of the season and is favourite to take over Manchester City in the summer according to Sky Bet.
Gündoğan has a strong relationship with Klopp and could be tempted to join the German manager should he make the move.
Manchester United were closely linked with Gündoğan recently but are now rumoured to have pulled out of the race to sign the 24-year-old.
Arsenal are also interested in Gündoğan according to the Metro.
