Man United & Tottenham transfer boost after club president confirms four offers for wonder kid

Basaksehir have set a €10 million valuation for star forward Cengiz Under after growing interest.

Fanatik claim that the Istanbul minnows will not accept any bids below their €10 million asking price.

Per the source, the 2016-17 season runner-up will have to pay 30 percent of any future deal to Under’s previous club Altinordu.

Basaksehir signed the 19-year-old on a €700,000 transfer from the Izmir based club last summer.

Under went onto score nine goals and provide seven assists, playing a key role in his side finishing as surprise runners-up and reaching the Turkish Cup final.

Basaksehir president Goksel Gumusdag has confirmed receiving offers from four European clubs.

“Cengiz has received offers from four European clubs,” Gumusdag said.

The names of the clubs were not revealed however, Under has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League.

Tottenham and Manchester United have been keeping tabs on the Turkish international.

Basaksehir manager Abdullah Avci did confirm last month that Manchester United and Tottenham have shown an interest in his rising star.

Avci told TRT Spor: “Yes, it’s true there is some interest for Cengiz. It’s normal that the clubs like Tottenham and United are showing interest for him because the kid is a good footballer.”

Under meanwhile revealed in a recent interview that he is keen on a move to the Premier League.

“The league I really want to play in is the Premier League and I would also love La Liga,” Under told beIN Turkey.

“I want to play for Manchester United or Chelsea, also Barcelona or Real Madrid.”

Despite his young age Under is a first-team star for both Basaksehir and the Turkish national team.
