Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is plotting a move for Galatasaray star winger Bruma, according to The Sun.

Per-the-source, Mourinho has made signing a winger with pace a priority and the Portuguese wonder-kid has been identified as a player capable of meeting the manager’s criteria.

The 21-year-old caught the eye of Jose Mourinho when Galatasaray faced United in a pre-season friendly.

United ended up winning the game 5-2 but Bruma scored and put on an impressive display.

Following the game Mourinho requested a meeting with the Portuguese winger.

“He congratulated me for the performance and said he was impressed with me,” Bruma was quoted as saying by Turkish-football.com“He promised to closely monitor my work and said I could play for the national team soon.

“Of course it was amazing to hear this from Mourinho and he said he will keep an eye on how I do this season.”

Bruma has been in great form this season and has contributed to seven goals in his last eight games – four goals and three assists.

Bruma’s impressive form has attracted interest from across Europe. A source close to the player revealed to Turkish-football.com that Arsenal and Tottenham have been scouting the 21-year-old and that they will be keeping tabs on him during the derby.

The Portuguese international has made more successful dribbles that any other player in the top five European leagues – Bundesliga, La Liga, Premier League, Serie A and Ligue 1 – this season according to Opta.

Meanwhile, the Lions are keen to extend Bruma’s contract following an impressive start to the 2016-17 season.
