Man City wonder-kid likened to Chelsea star Diego Costa
Manchester City wonder-kid Enes Unal has hit the ground running on loan at FC Twente becoming the highest Turkish international goalscorer in Eredivisie history.
Unal has a total of 13 goals in the league and 14 in total as well as three assists.
The 19-year-old has been compared to Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and while there are some similarities in terms of playing style his agent Batur Altiparmak believes his client has more in common with Chelsea star Diego Costa.
In Emre Sarigul of Turkish-Football’s latest article for the Guardian, Altiparmak likened Unal to Costa.

Speaking directly to Emre Sarigul, Altiparmak was quoted as saying: “I can see why he has been liked to Ibrahimovic but in terms of his playing style if I were to compare him to a play it would be Diego Costa or Edinson Cavani.”
Unal is a tall, powerful player who is lethal in the box and is capable of holding up play for his teammates.
The Turkish international uses his physical strength to an advantage and is also technically gifted.
Costa has 18 goals and five assists in all competitions for the Premier League leaders this season.
The young striker has been called up to the Turkish national team side and is expected to play in the World Cup qualifier against Finland.

Unal joined City on a £2 million move from Bursaspor in 2015 but has yet to play in England due to being a non EU player without a work permit.
The 19-year-old will have to increase his national team appearance quota or receive an exemption from the English FA on grounds of being an exception talent to be granted permission next season.
