Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has stated that he believes Mesut Ozil can lead his former side to the Premier League title this season.
Henry also heaped praise on Ozil’s recent form and the consistently he has show for the Gunners.
“Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil are finally showing the consistency to match their unquestionable ability,” Henry wrote in his column in the The Sun (via ESPN).
“Now they can lead Arsenal to the title because the team has learned how to win the big games even when they don’t dominate possession.”
The 27-year-old has provided 16 assists and has found the back of the net twice in 26 appearances for the Gunners this season.
Arsenal moved back into pole position in the Premier League following their draw Yesterday.
The North London based side are level on points with Leicester City and one point ahead of Manchester City.
Arsenal take on last seasons champions Chelsea next weekend as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table.
