Galatasaray have rejected a bid from Nottingham forrest for their young french defender Lionel Carole.
The Italian outlet Tuttomercato have stated that the both Forrest and the Belgium side Club Brugge have had offers tuned down for the 24-year-old.
The Frenchman joined Galatasaray last summer, signing from French side Troyes on a four-year deal for just over £1 million.
Carole has however been restricted to matches in cup competitions in recent weeks. The 24-year-old was a first choice under the Lion’s previous manager and started in three of Galatasaray’s Champions League games earlier this season.
The former Troyes defender also previously played for Benfica and Nantes. Galatasaray could end up being forced to sell Carole to meet Financial Fair Play regulations.
The Lion’s find themselves in third place, 13 points behind league leaders Fenerbahce, who are closely followed by Besiktas.
Carole has made 15 appearances for Galatasaray since joining over the summer.
