Emre Can apologised to his Liverpool teammate Alberto Moreno for kicking him in the face while celebrating Christian Benteke’s 63rd-minute goal.

The 21-year-old took to Instagram to celebrate Liverpool’s victory over Leicester and apologise to Moreno.

Can posted a picture of Liverpool celebrating the games only goal along with the caption, “Good team performance and congratulation @christianbenteke for the goal! And sry amigo @amplfc18 😂👍💪 #ynwa #liverpool”

Liverpool defeated league leaders Leicester City 1-0 at Anfield in what was the Foxes second defeat of the season.

The Belgium international striker Cristian Benteke scored the games only goal to win the Reds a valuable three points.
