Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1 in the FA Cup Final on Saturday to lift the trophy for a record 13th time.

Turkish origin playmaker Mesut Ozil started for the Gunners and ended up winning the cup for a third time.

Ozil was pretty active on social media following the triumph at Wembley but his final Instagram picture had a striking omission.

At first glance there is nothing strange about Ozil’s FA Cup celebration photo.

It is only after seeing Granit Xhaka’s Instagram photograph that the omission becomes apparent. The two images are identical as the poses demonstrate.

However, Xhaka’s Instagram post has one extra Arsenal player, Aaron Ramsey.

Ozil cropped Ramsey out of his version of the photograph.

Ozil has just over 12 months remaining on his contract and will hold talks with Arsenal over his future this summer.
