Portugal winger step closer to Tottenham after Galatasaray sign replacement

Man United target Bruma

Galatasaray have agreed terms with PAOK winger Garry Rodrigues a source close to the club told Turkish-Football.

Rodriguez will receive €1.5 million pre-season and Galatasaray will pay a €3.5 million transfer fee.

The Dutch winger has been brought in as a potential replacement for Bruma should he leave over the transfer window.

Galatasaray are preparing for the possibility of Bruma leaving in January. Tottenham have been closely scouting the Portuguese winger over the course of the season.

The Lions are keen on extending Bruma’s contract but have yet to strike a deal.

Galatasaray have set a €20 million valuation for Bruma and will consider offers that match their asking price due to the financial situation the club currently find themselves in.

The Istanbul giants were suspended from European competition this season due to breaching FFP regulations.

Bruma still has one and a half years on his current contract but Galatasaray want to include a release clause option that exceeds their valuation.
