Revealed: Why Lyon are more dangerous than Man United according to Senol Gunes
Besiktas manager Senol Gunes revealed that he would rather have faced Manchester United after his side drew Lyon in the Europa League draw.
Gunes was asked to explain what he meant regarding the statement in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Lyon clash.
“As you know I said I would rather have faced Manchester United instead of Lyon,” Gunes said.
The reason being Lyon have more players capable of springing a surprise.
Sure Manchester United as a team are worth more but Lyon are a more dangerous side going forwards.”

Lyon have been in fine goal scoring form scoring five times over the two legs against Roma in the last round and 11 times against AZ Alkmaar in the Round of 32.
The French giants have a total of 16 goals in their last four European games but they are coming off the back of a 4-1 defeat in the Ligue 1 against Lorient.
Besiktas also pose a threat going forwards having scored 10 times in the last two Europa League rounds.
United meanwhile scored just twice in the Last 16 clash against Rostov and four goals over the two legs against St Etienne.
Besiktas will take on Lyon in the quarter-final first leg tie in France on Thursday 13 April.
The Black Eagles have never reached the semi-final stage of the Europa League but they are the only domestic champions left in the competition.
Lyon will be without former United forward Memphis Depay who is cup tied.
