AS Roma are interested in signing Galatasaray’s in-form left back Alex Telles according to the Turkish Newspaper Milliyet.
The Serie A giants are looking to sign an alternative to Ashley Cole who has failed to impress since joining from Cheslea at the start of the season.
Inter have also been linked with Telles recently. However, Telles has not received an offer from Inter according to football agent Fernando Otto.
“Mancini signed Alex from Gremio and was really fond of him but I have not heard of anything since he left,” Otto told Milliyet.
Otto did however, hint that Telles would be open to a move to Italy were an offer made in the summer.
“Alex is happy in Turkey and has a contract with Galatasaray but you never know in the future, who would not want to play for the Italian giants?,” he added.
Telles joined Galatasaray on a €6 million transfer from Gremio last January and has made a total of 42 appearances for the Turkish giants.
