Joachim Low’s side needed a last second goal to draw the game in Berlin.
Ilkay Gundogan returned to the Germany set up following a long-spell on the sidelines due to injury.
The 26-year-old shared a photo of his teammates following the clash and included the following caption, “So proud being part of this @dfb_team. Today it was a 2-2 draw for Germany vs. France thanks to the last minute goal.”
