Tottenham striker equals last seasons Premier League goal tally in first three games in Turkey

Tottenham striker equals last seasons Premier League goal tally in first three games in Turkey

Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen has already equalled last seasons Premier League goal scoring record in his first three games for on-loan side Fenerbahce.

Janssen managed just two Premier League goals in a disappointing debut season at the North London based outfit.

The Dutch striker joined Fenerbahce on a temporary move this summer and hit the ground running.

Janssen has two goals in his first three league games. Even more impressively the striker has scored twice with just two shots on target.

The 23-year-old also has two assists to his name in the Super Lig.

Janssen was the start of the show for Fenerbahce in their 2-1 win over league champions Besiktas at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium on Saturday.

The Tottenham man scored and won the penalty for his sides other goal.

It is worth pointing out that Janssen has scored from close range and a penalty so far.

Janssen has managed to keep former Tottenham striker Soldado out of the first-team recently.

The Yellow Canaries are currently fourth in the Super Lig table, five points behind leaders Galatasaray.
