Barcelona star Arda Turan has hit the ground running since making his debut a fortnight ago in the Spanish Cup Last 16 first-leg tie against Espanyol.
Since then Barcelona have gone onto win all five games score 18 goals and concede just twice with the bearded winger providing two assists himself.
Turan has also demonstrated how versatile he is playing in no fewer than four different positions for the reigning La Liga champions.
The Turkish international winger was deployed on the right flank replacing the injured Lionel Messi yesterday and while he did not provide an assist he was the architect in Munir’s opening goal.
Turan took three Athletic Bilbao players out of the game with a lovely display of skill and vision to pick a pass around the trio and find Rakitic who was left in acres of space to charge down the wing before picking out Munir with a cross along the floor.
