Emre Can has scored the first goal in Jurgen Klopp’s reign at Liverpool.

The 21-year-old got on the end of a knock down from a free-kick in the 36th minute of the game against Rubin Kazan.

Liverpool drew their opening game 0-0 in Klopp’s first Premier League match on the weekend and Emre Can started in midfield.

Can was played in his preferred midfield role as opposed to spending most of last season as a defender under former head coach Brendan Rodgers.
