Liverpool take on Villarreal at the Estadio El Madrigal tonight in the semi finals of the Europa League.
Emre Can will miss the encounter due to a ankle injury he suffered during the Red’s 4-3 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the quarter finals.
This is Can’s first major injury since joining Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen at the beginning of last season. The 22-year-old was a major part of Klopp’s starting line-up. Can had cemented a place in Liverpool’s first eleven prior to his injury.
Klopp is also unable to call upon the club’s captain, Jordan Henderson due to injury.
