Watch: £21m Man United target scores title winning brace for Besiktas

Besiktas won the league title today after beating Gaziantepspor 4-0 at the Kamil Ocak stadium.

Brazilian attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca scored a brace in the second half to take his season tally to 17.

The 23-year-old scored a free-kick and then a superb long term effort.

Talisca has now scored 12 percent of all direct free-kick goals in the league this season – four out of the 34 scored.

The powerful attacking midfielder has also scored the highest number of goals from outside the area.

The Besiktas star on loan from Benfica has attracted widespread interest after an impressive season.

Manchester United have been keeping close tabs on the Turkish league title winner.

 

Turkish sports radio, Radyospor host Levent Umit Erol recently stated: “Manchester United have made an offer to Benfica for Anderson Talisca that will trigger his release clause, it looks like he will be saying goodbye to Besiktas.”

Mourinho and Talisca do shared the same agent, Jorge Mendes however, United would have to apply for the Home Office to great the midfielder a work permit under the Football Association’s ‘exceptional talent’ guidelines – as they did when Gabriel joined Arsenal from Villarreal.

The Brazilian ace has a £21 million release clause option which can be activated over the summer.

Besiktas did however, strike a two year loan deal with Talisca.

The 23-year-old will star at the Besiktas if his release clause is not activated over the transfer window.
