West Ham boss Bilic believes Besiktas lost the league title due to no home stadium

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic stated that the main reason Beşiktaş lost the league title was because they did no have a home stadium.

“I can say this without any reservations one of the key factors behind Beşiktaş not winning the league was not having a stadium,” Bilic told Fanatik.

“If we had our own stadium more decisions would have gone our way and we would have got better results it is very different playing at home.”

The Black Eagles played their European competition games at the Atatürk Olympic stadium.

Beşiktaş also played at the Başakşehir stadium in Istanbul, the Torku Konya Arena sporting venue in Konya and the Osmanlı stadium in Ankara.
