West Ham transfer news: Star midfielder Sofiane Feghouli proposed move to Euro giants hits the rocks

West Ham United midfielder Sofiane Feghouli’s proposed transfer to Galatasaray has stalled.

The Algeria international was expected to land in Istanbul last night to put pen-to-paper on a new deal. However, the Turkish outlet Fanatik have confirmed that complication have arising causing a delay in the transfer.

The transfer saga between Galatasaray and West Ham for Feghouli has dragged on for over a month.

A separate report from Fanatik claims the Algeria international is set to earn €3.5 million per season if the deal goes ahead.

Galatasaray have been busy this summer during the transfer window. Bafétimbi Gomis, Younes Belhanda, Maicon, Mariano and Badou Ndiaye have all joined the ranks this summer.

Feghouli joined West Ham from Valencia on a free-transfer last year. Feghouli scored four goals and provided three assists in 27 appearances for the Hammers last season.

Galatasaray will be without European football this season after being eliminated by Swedish minnows Östersunds in the Europa League qualification round.
