‘Yes, he has offers from 4 European clubs’ – Manager confirms bids for star forward keen on Chelsea & Man United transfer

Basaksehir wonder kid Cengiz Under has been closely linked with a summer exit.

Under has received four offers from European clubs according to Basaksehir manager Abdullah Avci.

The Istanbul minnows boss confirmed bids for the rising star but made it clear he wants Under.

Avci told beIN Sports Turkey: “Are there offers? Yes.

“Cengiz has four offers from European clubs but we are determined to keep him on our books for another 1-2 years. 

“We feel it would be in his and our best interests if he continues his development for another season.”

Under does have another four-years remaining on his contract but Basaksehir face a difficult task keeping him at the club.

The 19-year-old recently revealed that he wants a move to Chelsea or Manchester United.

“The league I really want to play in is the Premier League and I would also love La Liga,” Under told beIN Turkey.

“I want to play for Manchester United or Chelsea, also Barcelona or Real Madrid.”

Chelsea are reported to have made a €7.5 million bid for  Under according to the Sozcu newspaper.

Avci meanwhile has already confirmed United interest in the forward nicknamed the ‘Turkish Dybala’.

Avci told TRT Spor: “Yes, it’s true there is some interest for Cengiz. It’s normal that the clubs like Tottenham and United are showing interest for him because the kid is a good footballer.

Eastern European region United scout Krsto Kilibarda was spotted monitoring Under during the Basaksehir vs Genclegrbirligi game in May.

Under scored nine times and provided seven assists in all competitions over the 2016-17 campaign.

The youngster has also established himself as a first-team star in the Turkish national team.
