Manchester City star Jason Denayer is keen on a move to Galatasaray according to the Turkish newspaper AMK.
The report states that Denayer wants to return to Galatasaray on loan following the transfer of John Stones. The 21-year-old has been told that he will play a minor role if he remains at City this term.
The Lions could however, face competitions from Arsenal according to The Sun. Per the source, Denayer could be available for a £12 million fee and the Gunners are in the market for a defensive transfer after suffering an injury crisis at the back.
Galatasaray sporting director Levent Nazifoglu has confirmed making an offer for Manchester City defender Jason Denayer.
Nazifoglu underlined that Galatasaray want Denayer back at the club after a successful loan spell last season.
“Denayer settled in well last season and we want him back but it all now depends on what he says and what Manchester City decide,” he said.
“We want him and so does the manager and City know this.”
Denayer spent last season on loan at Galatasaray where he provided three assists in 28 appearances for the Lion’s in all competitions.
