The Ligue 1 side have been reluctant to sell Lacazette without securing a replacement.
With the Traore deal completed, Arsenal may finally be able to complete the transfer of the French striker.
Arsenal could be willing to allow Olivier Giroud to leave if they sign Lacazette according to another report by the Sun.
Per the source, the Gunners are closing in £50 million move for the Lyon star in what would be a record club transfer fee.
The latest developments will ALSO be welcomed by Besiktas who are plotting a move for Giroud.
A source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish-Football that the Frenchman is on their shortlist.
The Black Eagles would be willing to make a move for Giroud if Arsenal green light his exit.
Besiktas have prioritised signing an experienced striker after booking Champions League group stage football for the second consecutive season.
The Frenchman scored 16 times and provided seven assists in 40 appearances for Arsenal last season.
The 30-year-old has netted 98 times and provided 41 assists in 227 games since joining the Gunners from Montpellier in 2012.
