Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan will be available for the Manchester derby on Saturday according to ESPN.
Per the source, Gundogan, Leroy Sane and Claudio Bravo could all make their debut in the derby against Manchester United.
Gundogan missed the first few games of the season due to injury after dislocating his kneecap while at Borussia Dortmund – prior to joining City for £21 million [via ESPN] over the summer.
The 24-year-old midfielder has recovered and returned to training a fortnight ago.
Gundogan would become the first Germany international of Turkish origin to feature in a Manchester derby if he does make an appearance against the Red Devils.
City do have other concerns in regards to missing players. Citizens boss Pep Guardiola will be without Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero who was banned after being found guilty of elbowing Winston Reid in the victory over West Ham.
United and City have both got off to a strong start winning their first three Premier League games but the Citizens are first on goal difference having scored nine times and conceded just three goals.
