£22m Man United target holds Turkish giants to ransom following Jose Mourinho comments
Benfica attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca has been accused of holding Besiktas to ransom in the Turkish press.
NTV Spor reported that the Brazilian attacking midfielder has been demanding a pay increase.
Talisca wanted his €1.5 million salary doubled to €3 million.
Besiktas initially did not want to pay ball but have now agreed to increase his pay to €2.5 million per-season.

The Black Eagles will also have to pay Benfica an additional €2m loan fee – as they did last season.
The Istanbul giants agreed to Talisca’s demands following reports of Manchester United plotting a move.
Talisca has been closely linked with the Red Devils following comments made to Globoesporte as well as reports in the Turkish press.
“That is a question I can not give an answer to just yet,” Talisca was quoted as saying when asked about United interest.
“I cannot deny there is interest but what happens next depends on Benfica and my representatives.
“There will be news on this soon.
“Look every player dreams of playing under him [Jose Mourinho].
“Mourinho wants me, he has wanted me for a long time and I am an admirer of his work.
“I had a good season so we will see what happens.”
Talisca and Mourinho do share the same agent in Jorge Mendes which have led to further suspicions that the Brazilian leveraged what could very well be actual interest in him to get himself a better deal.
The 23-year-old is expected to stay an additional season on loan at Besiktas.
Besiktas signed Talisca on a two-year loan deal from Benfica last season but that did include a £22 million [€25m] release clause fee.
There has been some confusion over whether United could still activate his release fee.
A source close to Besiktas told Turkish-Football that as things stand Talisca will remain on loan for another season.
United would be able to sign the Brazilian for £22 million but he would join at the end of next season.
Talisca scored 17 goals and provided six assists for the Super Lig champions over the 2016-17 season.
