£26m Barelona star agrees to Arsenal move – Gunners in talks over transfer fee, Euro giants plot to hijack move

Barcelona star Arda Turan has agreed to join Arsenal according to Spanish outlet El Desmarque.

Per the source, the Turkish international is prepared to join the Premier League giants but the two clubs are still in talks over over a transfer fee.

Barcelona want £26 million for the experienced attacking midfielder but the Gunners want to negotiate a lower fee.

The La Liga outfit are keen on a selling Turan over the summer but he does have another three-years remaining on his contract.

Arsenal have been closely linked with Turan for the last few months but the Barca star does have interest from elsewhere.

Turan has also attracted interest from China but his agent Ahmet Bulut revealed to Turkish-Football that he is not keen on a move to the Far East.

The 30-year-old is however, open to a Premier League and did recently buy property in London.

Arsenal could however, face competition from Galatasaray who are reported to be plotting a move for their former attacking midfielder.

A source close to Galatasaray revealed that the club want to loan the Barcelona star for a season.

Turan first made a name for himself at the Istanbul giants before being snapped up by Atletico Madrid in 2011.

The experienced attacking midfielder has won the league title at every club he has been transferred to.

Turan has won the La Liga title with Atletico Madrid and Barcelona as well as the Turkish league with Galatasaray.
