West Ham have yet to make an official offer for Galatasaray striker Burak Yılmaz according to general secretary Fatih Işbecer.
Işbecer also underlined that the club would be reluctant to sell their star striker even if an offer was to be made.
“We have not received an official bid for Galatasaray and do not want to sell him,” İşbecer told NTV Spor.
The Metro reported that West Ham United had agreed personal terms with the Turkish international.
The report claims that the prolific striker has agreed to a £6.4 million per season deal with the London based side.
Yilmaz was left on the bench during Galatasaray’s 2-2 draw with Sivasspor on Saturday which led to further speculation that the prolific striker could be destined for an exit from Turkey.
The Turkish international striker has scored 58 goals in his last 87 games at club level and still has another four-years left on his contract.
The Lions take on newly promoted Osmanlispor in their second game of the 2015-16 season this weekend.
