The Beşiktaş striker has been in great form since joining the Istanbul giants and has already scored 12 goals in 19 appearances for his club and earned a recall to the Germany national team.
The experienced striker has scored 42 goals in UEFA competitions – the fourth highest for a German player.
Gomez has not gone unnoticed by Manchester United either who have registered an interest according to the Telegraph.
The Germany international is expected to start for Beşiktaş in the Istanbul derby against Galatasaray on Monday.
