Arda Turan is set to make his long awaited debut for Barcelona at the Camp Nou against city rivals Espanyol.
The Champions League champions will take on Espanyol in the Copa del Rey on January 5 or 6.
Turan has been unable to play for Barcelona since joining on a £27 million transfer from Atletico Madrid over the summer due to the FIFA transfer ban imposed on the club.
The bearded winger was however, taken to Japan with the team by head coach Luis Enrique for the World Club Cup.
Barcelona booked a place in the Club World Cup final after beating Chinese giants Guangzhou Evergrande 3-0.
Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick for the reigning Champion League title holders to end Evergrande’s 28-match unbeaten run.
Barcelona will play River Plate in the final on Sunday after the Argentinian giants beat Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the other semi-final.
