Beşiktaş beat Osmanlıspor 3-2 to move back into first place in the Turkish Super League table overtaking Istanbul rivals Fenerbahçe in the process.
Germany international Mario Gomez scored yet again for the Black Eagles in what was his fourth goal in as many games.
The Beşiktaş striker converted a brilliant set-piece delivery from Ricardo Quaresma on 33 minutes to equalise.
The Eagles came from behind twice to eventually win the game with a last minute strike from Jose Sosa that ensured Beşiktaş ended the week as leaders.
Gomez now has 12 goals in 16 league games for the Istanbul giants and 14 in total scoring twice in the Europa League as well.
The experienced striker has been in great form for the Eagles since joining on a two-year loan deal from Fiorentina over the summer transfer window and has already earned himself a recall to the Germany national team who gave him a special mention on their official twitter account.
