Arda Turan has had to spend the last few months on the sidelines but it will all seem worth it on Wednesday as the bearded winger gears up to make his official Barcelona debut.
Turan has of course been at the club since joining from Atletico Madrid over the summer but has been unable to play due to the FIFA transfer ban imposed on the club.
The ban permitted Barcelona to sign players but restricted the reigning La Liga champions from registering new signings.
Turan was however, finally registered today following the lifting of the ban and was given the number 7 shirt.
The Turkish international will follow in the footsteps of Luis Figo, David Villa and Pedro who have all worn the number 7 shirt in the past.
Pedro left over the summer joining Chelsea freeing up the number 7 shirt for the bearded winger.
Turan was joined by Aleix Vidal who like his Turkish teammate also joined over the summer and also had to wait on the sidelines. The former Sevilla man was given the number 22 shirt.
