Barcelona beat Espanyol 2-0 at the Estadi Cornellà-El Prat to book a place in the Spanish Cup quarter-finals 5-1 on aggregate.
Luis Enrique’s side beat their cross-city rivals 4-1 at the Camp Nou in the first-leg with both Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal making their debut.
Enrique made a few changes to his side going into the game with Munir El Haddadi replacing the suspended Luis Suarez and Roberto started ahead of Iniesta in central midfield.
El Haddadi ended up netting twice for Barcelona in what was his third and fourth goal in three cup games.
Turan started for Barcelona last Wednesday and has brought nothing but good luck to the team with the reigning La Liga champions winning the last three games in which he has started.
Barcelona beat Espanyol 4-1 last week in the cup followed by a 4-0 win over Granada in the league and finally took care of business against rivals Espanyol once again in the second-leg of the cup all with Turan starting.
