Atletico Madrid are preparing a last ditch bid for Beşiktaş winger Gökhan Töre according to Fanatik.
The Spanish giants are reported to be keen on signing Töre before the end of the transfer window as they have been hit with a FIFA transfer ban meaning they will not be able to register new players over the summer.
Töre’s agent Ahmet Bulut also recently revealed that Atleti had also made an offer for the explosive winger over the summer transfer window but that Besiktas rejected the offer.
“I worked hard to bring Gökhan to Beşiktaş and he is really happy at the club I did offer him to Atletico Madrid over the summer but it did not work out I do not see him leaving over the winter,” Töre was quoted as saying by Fanatik.
Beşiktaş recently turned down a £7.4 million bid from West Ham bid Gokhan Tore according to the Sun newspaper and are keen on keeping the star winger until the end of the season.
West Ham head coach Slaven Bilic recently stated that he tried to sign the 23-year-old at the start of the season.
“I have always said that Gökhan Töre could play at any European team he has both the quality and the potential,” Bilic said.
Töre has been in great form for the Eagles this season having scored four goals and five assists in all competitions for the Black Eagles this season.
