Mesut Ozil is a doubt for Arsenal’s clash with Stoke City in the Premier League after missing training yesterday.
The 27-year-old was a notable absentee from Arsenal training at London Colney on Saturday according to the Express. Ozil was taken off after 86 minutes against Liverpool.
Ozil will be looking to bounce back from the midweek draw with Liverpool if he starts today. Arsenal looked set to record a win over the Red’s but were pegged back in the final minute via a late goal from Joe Allen.
The Germany international received a rating of 7 (out of 10) for his performance on the night by WhoScored. Ozil made three key passes and took one shot on target.
The Arsenal playmaker has had an excellent season so far for the Gunners, having provided 16 assists in 20 appearances. Ozil has won the Arsenal player of the month award for the last three consecutive months.
