Mesut Ozil has confirmed that he will make a return to Arsenal’s starting line-up for today’s clash with Chelsea.
The 27-year-old posted a tweet on his official twitter page stating that he has overcome a foot injury which kept him out of last weekends clash with Stoke City.
Arsenal came away from Stoke with just a point in Ozil’s absence and require a win over their London rivals if they are to remain at the top of the Premier League. The North London based side can go four points clear of Manchester City following their 2-2 draw with West Ham.
Ozil has already provided 16 assists in the Premier League this season and is just four assists away from matching Thierry Henry’s record tally of 20.
