Victor Moses believes on-loan Fenerbahçe striker is well suited for West Ham and Premier League football in general.
Moses knows Emenike well as they are both Nigeria national teammates and have played together over 20 times.
“He’s quick and strong at the same time,” Moses was quoted as saying in the Evening Standard.
“Once he has the ball, he has the strength to go through players and he makes sure he wins his battles.
“I firmly believe he will be good in the Premier League and for West Ham as well. Having a player such as him up front gives you that strength.”
Emenike is a powerful and fast player but struggled at Fenerbahçe last season scoring just five league goals all season.
The 28-year-old’s poor form was largely blamed on former manager Ismail Kartal as the striker did rediscover his goalscoring boots at Al Ain where he scored seven times in 11 games on loan over the first half of the season.
Emenike joined West Ham on loan but was unable to make his debut last night against Aston Villa due to a ‘few issues’ according to Hammers co-chairman David Gold.

The Nigerian international is expected to make his first appearance for West Ham against Southampton on 6 February 2016.
