Mesut Ozil is ahead of Riyad Mahrez in almost every category this season ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Leicester.
According to stats from Opta, Ozil has provided 16 assists to Mahrez’s 10, created 58 more chances than the Leicester winger and has a higher passing accuracy.

The 27-year-old is on course to break Thierry Henry’s Premier League record for assists this season. Ozil has created 16 assists so far in just 23 Premier League appearances for Arsenal.
Mahrez has 14 goals and nine assists for Leicester City in the league this season.
Arsenal are currently joint second in the Premier League with Tottenham on 48 points each. The London based side is five points behind leaders Leicester City.
Arsene Wenger’s side have the opportunity to reduce the gap to just two points when they take on Leicester this weekend in the league.
