The English FA have invited Turkey to play an international friendly on May 22 at Wembley according to football pundit Ridvan Dilmen.
The former Fenerbahce star has close ties to the Turkish Football Federation and revealed that the TFF have received an offer from the FA and are currently considering going ahead with the match.
England have played Turkey 10 times winning eight times and drawing twice. The game will be welcomed by the 500,000 strong Turkish community in London who have had to wait 14 years for the Crescent-Stars to play in Wembley.
The last time England played Turkey was in the 2003 in Istanbul with the game ending in a goalless draw.
Turkey will be taking on Switzerland on March 24 followed shortly after by a game against Austria on March 29 in preparation for the European Championships this summer.
The Crescent-Stars and England have both booked a place in Euro 2016 this summer. England will be taking on Wales, Slovakia and Russia in Group B while Turkey face Spain, Croatia and Czech Republic.
