Liverpool plot summer swoop for Chelsea outcast

Liverpool are plotting a summer swoop for Chelsea outcast Marko Marin according to the Daily Star.

The report claims that the Reds are considering bringing in the on-loan Trabzonspor winger who will be available on a cut-price deal at the end of the season.

The Reds efforts could however, be scampered by Trabzonspor who have a release clause option to sign the Germany international on a permanent deal.

Marin failed to settle in at Stamford Bridge following his £7 million transfer from Werder Bremen in 2012 making a grand total of just 16 appearances for the Blues.

The 26-year-old does have a wealth of European football experience having played for Sevilla, Fiorentina and Anderlecht on loan.

The Reds have been linked with Marin in the past and were close to signing him before his move to Chelsea.

Marin has two goals and four assists in all competitions for Trabzonspor this season and the club are reported to be keen on keeping him on at the club next season.
