Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has linked Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil to Lionel Messi.
Ozil has been in impressive form for the Gunners this season having provided 19 assists and seven goals in 36 appearances.
“As a footballer, Ozil is a player who can do unthinkable things, just like Messi,’ said Ter Stegen, who plays alongside Ozil for Germany,” Marc-Andre ter Stegen was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail
Messi has also been in incredible form with 17 assists and 36 goals in 36 games so far this season.
The Gunners take on Barcelona at the Camp Nou in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League tie tomorrow. Ozil is expected to be included in Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up.
Arsenal are in need of a miracle after suffering a disappointing at the hands of the La Liga giants at the Emirates. The La Liga giants recorded a 2-0 win with both goals coming from Leonel Messi.
