Mesut Ozil believes that Arsenal have what it takes to beat Barcelona at the Camp Nou in the Champions League Last 16 second-leg clash today.
Arsenal have a mountain to climb considering that they lost the first-leg against Barcelona 2-0 at the Emirates.
“We have to go there and believe in ourselves,” Ozil Arsenal Player.
“We saw against Barcelona, if we play our game, as we did in the first 20 minutes where we had a lot of chances against them, and score in the first half, we can do it.”
To make matters worse the Gunners have not won a European clash in Spain for a decade. Barcelona meanwhile have won their last nine home games at the Camp Nou.
Arsenal would have to end Barca’s 37 match unbeaten run if they were to pull off a surprise tonight.
Ozil has been in good form the Gunners despite a poor run of results. The Germany international of Turkish origin has seven goals and 19 assists to his name this season.
The Arsenal start will be up against fellow Turk Arda Turan who is expected to make his Champions League debut for Barcelona.
