Turkish international winger Arda Turan made his debut for Barcelona against Arsenal in the Champions League Last 16 second-leg tie.
The 29-year-old had to wait eight-months to return to Champions League football after mixing the first-six months of the season due to the FIFA transfer ban and the first-leg of the Last 16 due to a suspension he carrier over from last season while playing for Atletico Madrid.
Turan did not start for the reigning Champions League title holders but was brought on in the second half for Ivan Rakitic.
Barca won the match 3-1 extending their unbeaten run to 38 games and have now won their last 16 games in which Turan has featured for his new side.
Turan only played 13 minutes but put on a decent display completing 95 percent of his 21 passes helping his side keep possession and protect their 2-1 lead.
Lionel Messi put the game out of doubt when he scores Barca’s third and final goal and secure a quarter-final spot.
Neymar and Luis Suarez scored Barca’s other two goals to complete a clean sweep for the MSN while El Neny scored Arsenal’s only goal.
