Emre Can has taken to social media to share his delight following Germany’s 4-1 victory over Italy in last nights international friendly.
The 22-year-old came on in the second half of yesterday’s encounter and was deployed as a defender. Can has primarily been used as a midfielder by Jurgen Klopp for Liverpool this season.
The Germany international uploaded a picture of himself celebrating alongside his teammates.
The energetic midfielder is currently on international duty with Germany and started in the 3-2 defeat at the hands of rivals England over the weekend.
Germany were in ruthless form and were ahead after 24 minutes via a strike from Tony Kroos. Mario Gotze doubled the German’s lead shortly before half time.
Hector put Germany 3-0 ahead after 59 minutes while Ozil got on the score sheet in the 75th after converting from the penalty spot.
