Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to wish the Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos a happy birthday.
The 27-year-old’s Arsenal future has been cast in doubt in recent weeks with speculation linking him with a move back to Spain.
However, Ozil took to Twitter to dismiss talk of a move away from Arsenal by insisting that he has no problem with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
Ozil posted a picture of himself alongside Sergio Ramos along with the caption, “Happy Birthday, @sr4oficial! Miss you, Bro! #friend #mate #Ramos.”
Ozil played a starting role in Germany’s 4-1 victory over Italy getting himself on the scoresheet in the process.
The Germany international joined Arsenal from Real Madrid for a club record £42 million back in 2013.
Ozil has 19 assists and seven goals in 38 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions this season.
