Barcelona suffered a 2-1 defeat against arch rivals Real Madrid at the Camp Nou ending a 39 match unbeaten run in all competitions.
The defeat was also the first Arda Turan has suffered since joining the reigning La Liga champions over the summer transfer window from Atletico Madrid.
Turan did not start however, was brought on for Ivan Rakitic late in the second-half.
The bearded winger had won 16 and draw just one of the 17 games he had featured in until the El Clasico.
Turan played just 17 minutes but was able to keep a 90 percent pass accuracy which is just below his season average of 92 percent.
The Turkish international winger did not make a single tackle of interception which is uncharacteristic but he did work hard in the central midfield.
Despite the defeat Barcelona remain seven points clear of third placed Real at the top of the table with Atleti six points behind in second place.
