Barcelona star Arda Turan has dismissed reports that he will be joining Arsenal at the end of the season in a recent interview with Diario Ara.
Turan did not directly tackle the question of whether he will leave but underlined that he will be at the club next season.
“For me it’s a new system, a language that I still have to learn. Next year will be better,” Turan told Diario Ara.
“I know that from here I will be improving. Now it’s time to win titles and the year that comes will be better for me.”
The 29-year-old believes he will be at the club next season and considering he signed a five-year deal last summer it would be unlikely to see him leave.
Arsenal are interested in Barcelona star Arda Turan according to Spanish sports newspaper AS.
The report claims that the Gunners have expressed an interest in the Turkish international winger and that Barcelona are considering offering Turan as well as Munir and Sandro in a part-exchange deal for Mesut Ozil.
Turan has two goals and four assists in all competitions for Barca this season and is expected to feature against his former side Atletico Madrid in the Champions League
