Can has been included in Liverpool’s midfield and starts alongside Jordan Henderson and James Milner.

Dortmund skipper Mats Hummels has made a return tp the starting line-up after sitting out Saturday’s win over Werder Bremen.

Gundogan has seven assists and three goals in 36 appearances for Dortmund this season.
