Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has remained positive despite his side dropping two points against their London rivals West Ham United.
Ozil uploaded a picture of himself celebrating his sides opening goal along with the caption, “What a crazy London derby with six goals – for us it’s a pity that we didn’t win after being 2:0 up … But a point against West Ham is better than nothing.”
The Gunners look set for a comfortable victory after they took an early lead when Mesut Ozil scored on 18 minutes. Alexis Sanchez doubled the away sides lead shortly after.
However, West Ham struck back when Andy Carrol scored five minutes before half-timeand then went onto equalise just before the interval.
Ozil is the leading assist provider in the league having setup 19 goals this season but he did not add to his tally today.
The Arsenal star did however make the highest number of key passes (3) by any Arsenal player. Ozil has now created 122 chances this season – more than any other player.
