Arsenal are not need of ‘big characters’ according to the Gunners star playmaker Mesut Ozil.
The 27-year-old played down the need for a player who ‘screams a lot’ and feels that there isn’t a problem with the the current team dynamic at the north London based club.
“I don’t think we need any ‘big characters’ in the way they were defined in the past, players in the club who scream a lot and slaughter their team mates,” Ozil told BT Sport.
“Everyone here has a voice, it is not that this experienced player is right and that player isn’t, instead you work well together as a team and that is why I feel good here.”
Ozil has previously played for Schalke 04, Werder Bremen and Real Madrid. The 27-year-old has also won the World Cup with Germany and is expected to feature in the upcoming Euro 2014.
The Germany international still has another two years remaining on his current contract but Arsenal are currently locked in talks over renewing his deal.
The Gunners host Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, kick-off is at 16:00 (GMT).
