Fenerbahce star Luis Nani has been busy giving interviews this week and his all time best starting XI caused quite a stir more for his omissions than the players he included.
Nani spent eight years at Manchester United winning four league titles and the Champions League but only included one of his former teammates – Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese international star did also include Red Devils legend Peter Schmeichel but he never played alongside the Danish goalkeeper.
Nani’s dream team is as follows:
Peter Schmeichel
Paolo Maldini
Phillip Lahm
Charles Puyol
Franck Rijkard
Andreas Pirlo
Andres Iniesta
Luis Figo
Zinedine Zidane
Cristiano Ronaldo
Thierry Henry
To be fair it was his all time dream team and he has only actually played alongside Ronaldo from his list.
Nani did also leave out Lionel Messi which is may seem a little unfair but considering the rivalry he has with Ronaldo it is not really a surprise.
The only other Premier League player on his list to have starred in the Premier League was Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
